A new study has revealed women spend on average 10 years of their lives dieting.

The average woman will go on 2 diets every year, with each one lasting an average of 5 weeks.

This totals to 104 diets between the ages of 18 and 70, lasting the equivalent of a decade.

1 in 10 of us goes even further, devoting a staggering 25 years or more of our lives to counting calories.

LIPObind surveyed 4000 women and found a third started their first diet by the age of 16.

One quarter of the women asked admitted that, despite numerous attempts at dieting, they didn’t lose any weight at all.

The average woman ideally wants to be a size 10 and a quarter secretly believe being a size 8 or under is their ideal.
