Healthy eating & excercise results in 300lb weight loss

589lb, Shannon Davis knew that the only way to make a real change to her body was to do it the hard way.
The 39-year-old, from Broomfield, Colorado, who was virtually housebound due to her size, has lost a staggering 300lb over the past three years, and the weight is continuing to fall off.
In an interview with Good Morning America today, she said: ‘I was afraid to go out. I knew people would stare, judge me and make comments about me.’
The masters student, who is also a full-time carer for her mother, decided to take action after her friends delivered some tough love, warning her that she could die if she didn’t address her weight.
But given her crippling self-consciousness, it was a struggle even to visit the gym, and early efforts at working out were slow.
