Fat people around the world ‘now stigmatised for being lazy and unattractive’

According to an article in the Mail On Line today states that a team of anthropologists from Arizona State University collected and analyzed data on cultural ideas about big bodies, fat and obesity from 10 countries and territories.

Social Stigma is rapidy spreading across the globe where ever they travel due to the spread of negative stereotypes from the West, scientists say. However it appears that in the US the predjudice is less due to the fact that the being larger has been the socially normally for longer
