Crystal Renn, the airbrushed truth.

I have been staying well clear of the subject of Crystal Renn and her new ad campaign; Fashion for Passion, as to be honest I knew there was something more sultry going on with the final images, and now the truth is out.

Our favourite plus size model, Crystal Renn is fuming and not surprisingly she still has her famous curves! So where did they go for a short ad campaign shoot? I can tell you where! Photoshop! So for all those people that had a go at her for loosing her sense of self, I ask you to retreat back to the hole you have dug and question the fashion industry photographers motive to manipulate a model into a state whereby she no longer looks like herself.

Routzen has admitted he ‘shaped her’, insisting: ‘I did nothing that I wouldn’t do to anyone. I’m paid to make women look beautiful.’

However Renn complained: ‘I understand a certain amount of retouching – if there’s a zit or you want to smooth things out – but to change my body completely, that’s not what I’m about and that’s not the message I want to give.’I don’t want young women to think being thin is the only way to be beautiful. Beauty is not a pant size.’
