Could you be Miss BBW United Kingdom 2010 or Mr BHM United Kingdom 2010? Here’s your chance to grab that crown!

Beauty contests aren’t just for slim people. There are so many stunning Big Beautiful Women (BBW) and gorgeous Big Handsome Man (BHM) out there but with no real forum for you to receive recognition, too many of you are standing in the shade. Big Girls Paradise (BGP) has launched a bid to find Miss BBW United Kingdom 2010 and Mr BHM United Kingdom 2010 to redress that balance.

If you are a BBW or BHM who walks with pride, is happy in their own skin, is body confident, and thinks that their just a bit gorgeous, then BGP wants to hear from you.  You should be 18 or over, with girls at least a size 20 and guys should be plus-size hunks.

Because BGP knows there are so many gorgeously large lovelies out there, it is running a series of regional heats this autumn/winter to make sure that no-one gets left out. There are two prestigious titles up for grabs and BGP wants to give everyone a chance to come along and show just how beautiful/handsome you are. So wherever you live in the UK, there’ll be an audition city close to you.

The finalists will be invited along to the BGP Weekender 2010 (25th-27th June), at Wokefield Park, just outside, Reading, Berkshire, which will see Miss BBW United Kingdom 2010 and Miss BHM United Kingdom 2010 crowned at the biggest size-acceptance event there’s ever been. There are some fantastic prizes for the winners and two runners up.

The winners will have the privilege of becoming spokesperson for BBW/BHM in the UK, and will be required to appear in magazine and newspaper articles, photo shoots, making personal appearances and other assignments from June 2010 – June 2011. The winners may also be required to travel. This will be a truly exciting challenge!

BGP is also looking for plus-size talent to shine at BGP Weekender 2010 and has mounted a talent hunt on a grand scale with auditions being held from 10am to 5pm on: 15th and 16th September 2009 at the Minories, 64-73 Minories, London, EC3 N1JL.
BGP is looking to put together a plus-size pop group/dance troop but also want to hear from individual performers: singers, dancers, performers of any description.

BGP is also giving you the chance to become part of one of the most coveted BBW groups in the country. Would you like the chance to be a Curvy Kitten or Paradise Guy – the much talked about hostesses and hosts that are the driving force of every BGP event?

For The Girls: Are you a curvy, buxom plus-size lovely who would look a knock out in a corset and a pair of cute kitten ears? Are you confident and sassy, with a bubbly personality and the va va voom to act as an ambassador for BGP? Then you could be just what we’re looking for. If you make it into the ranks of the Curvy Kittens, you’ll be the smiling face of BGP at the Weekender 2010. Miaow!

For The Guys: In the name of equality, it’s not just male guests who’ll get the pleasure of eye candy. We need to keep our lady guests happy by recruiting new Paradise Guys. You should be muscular, masculine, utterly gorgeous and sexy enough to wear trousers, a bow-tie and little else! Are you up to the challenge?

Still 10 months away, excitement is already building for the event of the year – BGP Weekender 2010. It will be getting the party started in style with a champagne reception when guests arrive at the fabulous Wokefield Park, Reading, at 3pm on Friday 25th June 2010.

The jam-packed entertainments programme begins at 7pm and centres around the largest marquee in the UK, which will play host to various acts, performances, celebrity appearances and fantastic DJs. There will also be a number of on-site bars to keep you hydrated, with a choice of music and entertainment to choose from. And guess what? Guests get to do it all over again on Saturday night!!!!

A BBW/BHM Fayre will be open throughout the weekend – playing host to a wide range of companies from those selling beauty products to plus-size clothing retailers.
