An article by Sarah
Posted April 14, 2011 According to a report on the news today, according to London Today, child obesity in the London area is higher than anywhere else in the UK – In fact 1 in 5 are obese.
The cost is 7.1 million but if today’s youngsters don’t change their habits this cost could reach 111 million in the future.
Personally although the financial consequences are a concern the main importance is to get the youth of today away from their computers and tv’s and get them exercising.

They interviewed Sarah Berkley who previously was overweight and had low self esteem. However Sarah joined the programme with Mend, and now cycles, walks and exercises resulting in a general improvement in not only her health but whole outlook.
Mend is a programme to help people become fitter, healthier and happier
