Diane & Michael
Diane, 37, a size 26 and a former carer for the elderly, and Michael, 39, a delivery driver, met via Largerdate.co.uk and four years on are happily married. As an agoraphobic, internet dating was really Diane’s only hope of meeting someone to share her life with. She had the added problem of living in a sizeist society, which lead her to www.largerdate.co.uk.
This is the story of how it all began…………
“My previous relationship of 12 years had ended and my sister, who was already a member, encouraged me to join Largerdate.co.uk. I’m agoraphobic and have been for some years so going out and meeting men was not an option for me.
I really didn’t think I could find love online but decided to give it a go anyway. My profile attracted a fair bit of interest (must have been because I was new – lol!!) but one person stood out for me, my Michael. He seemed genuine and kind, and we arranged to meet in my local pub. We were both so nervous but as soon as we met we hit it off and didn’t stop talking and laughing.
We dated for a year before moving in together and two years ago, Michael asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes and now three years on we are still as happy as ever. We are best friends and most importantly, he’s my soul mate, as I am his. So thank you to Largerdate.co.uk for helping me find him. I think our wedding photo and the laughter on our faces says it all.
I tried internet dating via other BBW (Big Beautiful Women) dating site but I found the men were only interested in having some fun, and most of them lived too far away from me.

Jane & Paul
Jane, 45, and Paul, 46, Deery met through the site in 2006. As they were living 70 miles apart, they had a long distance relationship for a year. In 2007 Paul moved from Lincoln to North Yorkshire with his three children. Janet has a grown up daughter from a previous relationship.
Janet, a size 24, had previously been married and found herself single and 40.
