Being comfortable in what you wear is one of those important factors in life to make you feel great. If it doesn’t fit then you’re not yourself – we have all been there, no matter what shape or size; so in my exploration I found fashion sites that truely deliver style and fit for tall!
The Tall Shop provides something a little different, their collection is unique and in most cases handmade to bring you those alternative looks so we aren’t all wearing the same thing. The website is sleek and fresh, the clothing encompasses on-trend bright and ditsy vintage chic and long line tribal dresses.
How to look good.com is a resource for women of all shapes and sizes by Caryn Franklin. The site offers a free newsletter straight to your email box about the latest fashion and how to dress for your size; it also offers the advice of Caryn in detail through an e-book, unfortunately, the book comes at a cost but at £9.97 it’s not a bad price for style advice.
Lanky Bird is specifically for a certain type of women, check out their website to see if you fit the bill – you have to be “lanky!” It’s a lovely website and they are about providing beautiful classic essentials that have the all important quirky features. They promise fit, flattery and high quality. Their clothes are all manufactured in the UK, something you rarely see now, so I congratulate them on this.
One shop you are probably already aware of but well worth the mention is Long Tall Sally. They offer a beautiful array of clothing just for tall women, ranging from basic wear to glamour, it’s all you need under one roof. LTS has a wide variety of pieces for women 5’8 and above size 10-20 and shoes 7-11. They understand what fashion is about and how all women want style to suit their frame.
Top Shop Tall has a lovely array of their trendy and funky clothing especially for taller women.
If you’re expecting, Bean Pole Bumps is the UK’s first online shop solely catering for tall maternity wear. The website doesn’t look as professional as others but there is a wide selection of items all of which are modelled on people so you can see what they will look like on.
