Mothers. Most of us have one. Many of us are one. But what ultimately makes one?
The tradition of Mothering Sunday is usually a sign spring is on its way, Easter is just around the corner and a reminder to dodge those chocolate eggs! A lot of the time the true meaning of this loving day is lost.

My mum is amazing! She works so hard to support her family, which is difficult as she lives so far away, but she is there for everyone emotionally. Her sister is going through difficulties at the moment, as is her mother. Both her children (my brother and I) live away from home, and her husband works away for a lot of the year, yet throughout it all, she has the strength of spirit to be happy and smiling, and always there to offer help and advice when needed, and always thinks of others before herself. I would just like her to know that she is very special to us all, that we are there for her, and to thank her for all her help through the years.
My Mum has made a lot of sacrifices for me and my sister. She’s moved heaven and earth for us. She’s loved me, nurtured me. She’s always put me and my sister’s needs before her own. My Mum is the best.
I’m such a Mummy’s boy! Always have been and always will be! Love her to bits, especially when she cooks a good roast dinner for the whole family! Thanks Mum!
