“I am…” NEW Collection from carmakoma fall/winter 2009

Sophisticated and sexy. Those are some of the key words in the new collection “I am” from carmakoma – the Danish fashion brand for women with curves. At the same time carmakoma women are rough, charismatic and feminine, and in this fall it will be even easier to show off your unique style without changing your whole wardrobe.

“Our focus was to create many opportunities with every single piece. Most of it can be styled to suit your personal style and mood whether your style is cool rock-chick or seductively feminine,” says design manager Heidie Lykke.

Together with Angelica Weiss she is celebrating carmakoma’s first birthday and can look back at a tremendous beginning. As quick as a flash carmakoma has become the favourite brand of a lot of curvy women and the feedback has been huge and positive.

Especially the unique fit, the great quality and the many details have taken part in creating foundation for the success. Carmakoma is already sending many packages containing the exclusive Danish fashion clothes in sizes 14-24 off to customers in the USA, France and Australia among others.

And of course this year’s fall/winter collection is designed with the distinct carmakoma touch that not least finds its inspiration in music. Because according to carmakoma, fashion is inextricably linked with music.

The dominating colours are tones of purple and grey, and many of the pieces result from experimenting with exciting materials as leather look and shiny fabrics. Once again a lot of attention has been given to the fit and cuts of the clothes. The collection contains both tulip-shaped dresses, rough jackets, tulle skirts and jersey drapes. And as always every piece is distinguished with slimming effects and bold details. For example, asymmetric features can be seen on neck parts and sleeves.

“We want to indicate that carmakoma women always are on the move, always heading towards new paths. “I am…” lays the ground for you to define your style to suit your mood. The collection radiates urban energy – where everyone will fit in no matter what mood they are in”, says Angelica Weiss.
