A New Year Tribute: Plus Size Fashion Bloggers

classicSince it is now a New Year I started to think about all that has happened in the past year, I was introduced to 100% People, I moved house again and I have met a lot of inspirational people on my way.

In tribute to my year I thought I would write about the bloggers out there that have been truly inspiring and a real help in my attempt to make 100% people the UK’s number one resource for plus size individuals (Watch out America…we are coming to you next!!)

Firstly I would like to thank Gabi at Young, Fat and Fabulous; she gave me the courage to go to other bloggers and ask for their insights into everything plus size. She has also inspired me to search for my own style and I really hope I have delivered that in some of my own articles in our 100% Style area. Gabi is always taking fashion to another level; looking at all the possibilities, editing and rejuvenating pieces- her style is unique.

Marie Denee sml

Marie Denee is a lady that has influenced many plus size fashionistas and fashion lovers. She started her Curvy Fashionista blog at the beginning of this year and it has transformed into what can only be described as a full plus size fashion and style resource. Not only this but she has worked hard to rejuvenate the outlook on plus size clothing by creating a specialist boutique for plus size designers so consumers can get hold of on trend and beautifully unique designs all over the world and all in one place! Marie has featured heavily on 100% People this year for her successes and I am so grateful for her contribution to our website also, she wrote a wonderful advice article to get your curves ready for the winter season and took the time out of her busy schedule to have interviews with me so we could keep you updated on progress and developments.

Fat Girls Like Nice Clothes Too is a British blogger and she is fab, her blog offers readers insights into a fashion lovers life, she attends fashion previews and gives us the latest scoop on all our favourite plus size brands. She has also taken the time to speak with me about the industry and wrote a fantastic article for our autumn fashion feature. I couldn’t be without this blog; her insights are fashion forward and she is the only British person that seems to blog about the plus size fashion world.

Blogs sure to be influential in my New Year

Fat Girls Guide to Living – I would more than love to speak with the women of this blog – their writing is informative and the blog covers absolutely every area of life you could possibly think of. One story which caught my eye recently was one to find a reader a fencing jacket to fit her size. This blogger is truly out to assist people in life and provide help to questions you need answering.

So I will keep it short and sweet and hope the coming year will provide me with more opportunities to ask fabulous women to feature on our plus size resource and community.

Have a Fantastic New Year!
