Tribal fun for that must have trend
An article by Sarah
Posted March 30, 2009 The latest fashion trend to hit the high street stores this week is Tribal. If you would love to revive your wardrobe ready for the sunshine, then take a look at these finds.
New Look have recently introduced their new plus size collection; Inspire, catering for sizes 18-26. They have a lovely selection of clothing perfect for the Spring and Summer months, they have adapted the catwalk trend; tribal, called Paisley. The range includes Cami tops and dresses in beautiful colours and expressive prints; I particularly love the Bold Paisley Dress which is on offer at £22 and the Paisley Sequined Cami would look fab with a pair of jeans.
Simply Be have hit the nail on the head with this new trend. They have launched two different types of tribal wear to suit your figure and colouring. Homespun is rustic and romantic with pale colouring and frill accessories. Mexican Sunset is inspired by Aztec ethnic accents with square cut neck lines and bold prints in scorched earth colours.
Anna Scholz has taken Tribal to the next step by incorporating her own flare for colour into wondrous prints and styles. The designs include maxi dresses, brightly coloured tunic tops and blouses and accessories to match.
If you’re not a fan of maxi dresses but still want this trend to make an impact on your wardrobe. Take a gander at Look magazine’s recommended Tribal accessories to spice up your wardrobe. Accessorize have lots of tribal inspired wooden jewellery. Woodoo Wedges from Office will complete the look.
Have fun with this new trend; it can be kept simple with the one print or you can mix it up a little, especially with bangles and eccentric accessories.
