In my discovery to feed those fashion addicts out there with shapes and cuts that actually make us feel good rather than a marshmallow; I stumbled upon a beautiful designer with an even more beautiful plus size clothing range, catering for sizes 12 to 28.
Anna Scholz showed her first collection in 1995, I know, I’m a little behind but it was in Germany! Now she has global domination, allowing all of us to benefit, even the likes of celebrities; Macy Gray and Gabrielle have been spotted in her designs. Don’t be put off by this though, we can still afford her collection. In 2006 she joined forces with Simply Be to bring exclusive mail order to her new designs.
For research purposes only, of course, I checked out her collection on the Simply Be website. The designs really deliver on her promises of luxurious, tactile fabrics and striking prints, creating sophisticated styles and at reasonable prices. There is an assortment of items starting at just £16 including shoes, sensuous lingerie and clothing to suit all shapes.
Anna’s new collection is on her website now, including the autumn/winter collection and sale items. The website gives that sense of exclusivity and the price tag is to match but for wondrous designs and the quality of fabric used, I would expect nothing less.
As if designing for her own collection and Simply Be wasn’t enough, she also designs fabrics as part of her Simply Be range; including cushions, throws and quilt cover sets, again with her signature vibrant colours and unique style.
