Posted September 20, 2011 Are you a lady who wears a dress or skirt for work? Yes, well this should improve your chances for promotion!
Apparently in the press today it says that if you try and compete with a man by wearing trousers you are less likely to succeed than those of you who dress in a feminine way as it has the impression that you are less confident.
I am not sure how true this is I would have thought in today’s age it was about competance and not what you wear.
Having always preffered skirts or dresses rather than trousers I personally don’t think it makes one single bit of differrence but you may have another view.

One thing we did notice seems to be the lack of colourful workwear. We do realise that some companies expect their women to wear Black, Navy or Grey but there are many out there who just want to see smart attire, so maybe there is a gap here to be filled.
