Competition winner’s make over day a great success

Yesterday, members of the 100% People team had a fantastic day out in the beautiful city of Cambridge to take our winning face of 2008 for a make over!
Last year we were inundated with photographs for our Face of 100% People competition, we had 2 winners from each quarter . These eight people were then entered into the fantastic finale of the Face of 100% People 2008 to win a makeover worth £500.
Tony Martin was our lucky winner and the day was a great success and so much fun. We collected him from the hotel at a bright and breezy 8 am to start his day. Tony’s first port of call was a luxurious facial and relaxation massage at a Clarins Spa. When we returned to collect him after his hour of indulgence he looked fresh faced and ready for further pampering! 
Next was the all important hair cut; Toni and Guy provided a fantastic service, Chelsea, his hairdresser, gave Tony exactly what he wanted. The new style looks great and suits his new outlook on life. Everyone at Tony and Guy thought the make over a fantastic idea and loved that we had chosen the Cambridge store for the day’s event. The new Tony looked fab, so as to maintain his new mane 100% treated him to various new hair styling goodies and treats, which smelt yummy.
We then wondered the streets of Cambridge taking in the beautiful surroundings; we had a long leisurely lunch at Café Uno with Italian delights and meaningful conversation. It was great to understand more about our website member, Tony.
The afternoon was spent finding the right shapes, styles and colours for Tony’s new look, with our very own in house Susannah (of the Trinny and Susannah team!!) It took a little persuading to get him back into the lighter colours his body needed but we got there in the end, the overall choices included a smart summer suit with cream shirt, which looked very flash! And a smart casual outfit with a coral coloured jumper – this might sound bold but take a look at the end result; Tony really does look fantastic in bright colours.
