According to the whiz-kids of science and research, today is the day people are most likely to jack in their new year resolutions and revert back to their old dirty habits until next January!
Apparently 78 days into the New Year is the approximate time most people give up on the diet, non-smoking, exercise regime etc. And research has shown that we are more prone to quit when we see those surrounding us giving up, especially people who we believe to be parallels of ourselves.
Which is pretty interesting because, obviously me being a born leader and having no known parallels as I am a complete freak-unique, I kicked started the trend to ditch the diet exactly 77 days ago! Ooops!
