Chloe Speaks Out!

Chloe Marshall our new favourite curvy celeb has spoken out about how she feels about the modelling industry.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, Chloe who was recently crowned Miss Surrey, has made clear her thoughts on the label “plus-size” model. She has said “I would prefer that they didn’t use those words, yes,” “They don’t call the very skinny models minus-size, do they? I don’t see why we need to be set apart like that. We are all just models.”

This label is something that I’ve always thought discriminating. Are they not all models? Yes… of course. They all do exactly the same work, just in different sized clothes. If we were to begin labelling other such careers in the same way there’d be uproar. Just imagine Plus-Size Teachers? Plus-Size Receptionists? Plus-Size Lollypop Ladies? It’d never happen! So why in the fashion industry?
