The Plus-Size Miss England entrant Chloe Marshall has appeared on the ITV lifestyle show This Morning. Talking to Fern and Philip she discussed her ambition to become the first ever plus-size Miss England finalist.

In the initial stages Chloe didn’t want anyone to know she was applying and described how shocked she was when she was confirmed as a finalist for the Miss Surrey heat.

Fern asked how she would feel about competing next to slim girls, especially in the swimsuit part of the contest. Confident Chloe was positive and explained how she was looking forward to using accessories and heeled shoes to make sure her outfit compliments her curvaceous body-type.

I am delighted Chloe has been receiving so much upbeat media attention and it’s very clear that she has many supporters; though Chloe has expressed her upset at reading derogatory comments regarding her appearance on internet forums and blogs. Well I don’t know who these ignorant people are, as I haven’t come across one negative comment so far in my research, but if I do happen to stumble onto any cowardly comments I’ll be sure to give the author what for! Chloe Marshall is a beautiful young lady whose curves many would die for. We should be praising her confidence and self-belief to stand up against the stereotypes the Miss England contest upholds by constantly using very slim girls as advocates for our country.

I would be proud to call Chloe Marshall Miss England, and I know her work promoting such a positive self-acceptance message already deems her true royalty in the eyes of 100% People!
